Why you should join us
BEAS strives not only to teach children to speak the language but also, to mentor, and to guide them through their formative years of education.
Learning foreign language is important. Knowing the language of your cultural and ethnic background is essential. Please note that our teachers are native speakers.
The current curriculum has been developed in partnership with the European Azerbaijani School (Baku, Azerbaijan).
We provide termly reports, and implement Google Classroom, which will enable the parents to track students progress.
We are instilling interest in the language through a variety of teaching methods.
BEAS is developing a special, one-of-a-kind tailored education, allowing everyone to grow while exchanging information and experience.
In addition to weekly classes, we are planning Summer camps both at our school or at external locations.
Our teachers and other members of staff enjoy guiding the students. They are passionate about teaching and devoting their energy to our students. Please note, all our staff are DBS verified.
We are a multilingual school, where your children can express themselves in different languages. We work with the beginners as well as native Azerbaijani speakers.

Amina Huseynli
I am a Mathematics BSc graduate from the University of Edinburgh in 2021. Prior to Uni, I studied at the European Azerbaijan School in Baku for 5 years. I was one of the first IB graduates from that school which allowed me to study in Edinburgh. Currently, I am working as an accountant at HalalBooking in Reading.
On Saturdays, I volunteer to teach the Azerbaijani language. and Arts & Crafts to young children at the British European Azerbaijan School in Reading, which only opened in 2022 September.
I am also a volunteer at the "CIGIR" (which means "path" in English) charity organization in Azerbaijan since 2019 and I am part of the "Orphan Sponsorship Scheme" project, where my main role is an accountant.
I enjoy being part of the team and I hold on to the values of this charity - "Mercy in every heart". We have a shared goal within our team: we want to bring together all people who share this value with us and contribute to the spread of good causes (in exciting ways)!

Nigar is an experienced teacher with a proven record of helping children progress and providing positive learning experiences. She obtained her teaching qualifications from Baku State University and Baku Slavic University.
Her prior experience includes working across both private and public schools in Azerbaijan as well as teaching at one of the local high schools in London.

Rauf Khalilov
Rauf Khalilov is a lawyer by profession. He lives and works in London. He is married and has two kids. Rauf enjoys spending time away from work with his family, but when he has spare time left, he plays chess, writes poetry and music, sings, exercises and cooks.
Rauf has a dream to own a farm with a lake where he would have a restaurant that would serve food produced on his own farm. He would also like to create a centre within the farm for children with special needs where they would receive education through play therapy with animals and nature.
